Alison Bryant

Alison comes from an accomplished background in Disability Management, with over 7 years of experience as Workers Compensation Manager at Canada’s largest ski resort, Whistler Blackcomb. She was instrumental in the redesign, development and facilitation of their disability management program which saw the success of the reductions of WorkSafe premium rates, delivering significant cost recovery for the company.

Alison's goal is to work within the workers compensation program for the employer with the objective of reducing the human and financial cost of workplace injury. She is passionate about providing solutions to overcoming the challenges that employers face when trying to support timely and safe return-to-work outcomes for their employees.  Alison is able to draw on her vast knowledge to solve technically complex problems and recommend ways to change or adjust methods and procedures to make them as effective and efficient as possible.  She has the ability to tailor her approach as needed in order to hone effective processes and strategies that not only minimize wage loss and claim expenses but also empower ill and injured workers to maximize their wellbeing and successful recovery.

Alison is a seasoned expert in WorkSafe policy and adjudication and has the proven ability to verify incidents that have the opportunity for alternative assignment of compensability.
